Journal Me Monday's: Where is Your Peace?

Anyone who knows me understands that I do not have curly blonde hair. However, I loved the picture above because of the mountain view and the metaphor, and I enjoy being outdoors.
For today, my public thoughts and journaling moments are that I have to be organized. I adore being organized because it helps my brain and thoughts not spin around like a top. When I am organized, my thoughts flow freer, my hands type more, and I can breathe more clearly.
I am at peace with things that happen.
What are the things you do to help yourself feel at peace?
You can answer in the comment links below or think about it on your own. Peace is not about balance, and peace doesn't mean that life is perfect. It means that things ebb and flow with the highs and lows that the world throws at you.
I have tough times, and I sleep more and clean less during these times. I write less and work out minimally (sometimes not at all). But, I always keep thinking in the back of my mind that the tough times will even out, and I will begin to get back into the rhythm of my peace—although I would have grown and learned something new.
I hate when my life is in turmoil, but I also know it can't be helped. People get sick. Children have issues. I have issues, I get sick, something in my house breaks, my job gets nutz, and so much more can happen.
During these moments, I either fight against it or go with it. My first instinct is to fight it because I want things to be "balanced," but I eventually succumb to the flow, which is when things get easier, even when they are most difficult.
Thank you for reading today. I hope you enjoyed it.
All the best,
Kara
