A super cute book with murder and feminism.
I have yet to grow a following large enough to make a difference in anyone's life when they find books.
But my hope is that one day, someone will stumble on this post and decide to read this series.
Cleopatra Fox is an amazing character who doesn't shy away from murder and the ideas of what a woman should be in the year 1899-1900. Instead, her parents and grandparents educated her.
She uses her keen critical skills and ladylike demeanor to tell her family how she'd like to live her life—not married and solving crime.
The first book is a cute murder mystery with all the bells and whistles of feminism that I could ask for. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something new to read.
